We are two professional DJ's/Producers/Promoters from Scandinavia. It all started way back in 1989 at Acid House parties in Helsinki and there was no return after that. HouseAmigos were established 2004 and we started to organize parties together in Finland. 2006 was time to move on to London following the coming release of Passion Eterna / Sauna [Cuetip Recordings] the first one together.
We have played of course in Finland (Ministry of Sound, Pushca, Hed Kandi, Funky4love) and its neighbour countries like Estonia (Moskva, Prive, Stereo, R.I.F.F, Night Man), Latvia (MultiKlubs), Russia (Par, Aquarius, Raid, CCCP), Sweden (Club Circuit) and Germany (Spindler & Klatt). In the south the very special gigs has been in Indonesia (DeeJay Club), Thailand (Narcissus, Tapas), Spain (Shoko [BCN], Plastik, Bar Playa d'en Bossa [IBZ]) and Portugal (Pacha). It has been our pleasure to play alongside DJ 's like Danny Rampling, Toni Bass (DEUX), Anthony Pappa, Asle Bjorn, Hoxton Whores, Alan Thompson, Frank Maurel, Matthias Heilbronn, Ian Ossia and Bert Bevans. Our mixes (CHECK OUR WEBSITE) has got a very good response of the global radio stations. Mixes has been heard in every continent (Sirius Satellite Radio, ETN.fm, Proton, Masmusic.fm, Energy Fm, Bassoradio, Yle X, Kiss Fm).
Our mix has also been chosen as best Pick 'n' Mix of the month by DJ MAG in the end of 2006.
At the moment I'm more than happy to live in London (Sami) and I concentrate to raise our profile here. We have played eg at Turnmills, Pacha, Pushca, Herbal, Bambina, Redlight Afterhours, Cafe 1001, Geisha Bar and at the moment we have residency for example at The Light and Tabernacle in Shoreditch.
We promote our special parties called MEDITERRANEO in London LAST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONT @ THE LIGHT and in Helsinki 3rd FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH @ AHJO CLUB. We also have brought ledendary Pushca & Funky4love parties for the first time from UK to Scandinavia.
Our sound is unique mixture of the Mediterranean House & Electro spiced up with powerful Tribal and Techouse. Generally our sound is heavily influenced by the Mediterranean sound because of the several summers in Isla Blanca. Feel the Difference !
